TWINKLE MATTRESSES WARRANTY & CARE GUIDELINES

At Twinkle Mattresses, we are dedicated to enhancing your sleep experience. Please review our warranty policy and care guidelines to ensure your satisfaction and the longevity of your mattress.

    WHAT TO EXPECT

    Mattress Dimensions:

Due to variations in materials and construction, mattress dimensions can slightly differ. Our mattresses have a standard tolerance of up to 1 inch. The standard Twinkle Mattress sizes are:

    • Twin: 38” x 74”
    • Twin XL: 38” x 80”
    • Full: 53” x 74”
    • Queen: 60” x 80”
    • King: 76” x 80”
    • Cal. King: 72” x 84”

    Adjustment Period:

It’s normal for your body to take time adjusting to your new mattress, just like breaking in a new pair of shoes. Typically, this period lasts 1-4 weeks as your muscles and joints adapt to your new level of support.

    Body Impressions:

As our mattresses conform to your body, impressions may naturally form. This is normal and doesn’t indicate a defect. To minimize impressions, rotate your mattress regularly, regardless of whether it is one-sided or two-sided.

    Body Impression vs. Sagging:

A body impression is the mattress conforming to your shape. Sagging, on the other hand, can be caused by an improper foundation or bed frame. A supportive foundation is essential to prevent sagging and is required for warranty coverage.

    Mattress Durability and Life:

According to sleep experts, the average lifespan of a mattress is 8-10 years, depending on your comfort preferences and care. Like a favorite pair of shoes, your mattress may become more comfortable with time, but will eventually wear out due to natural use.

Mattress Expansion and New Mattress Smell:

    • Allow 8–48 hours for your Twinkle Mattress to fully expand after unboxing. Because each mattress is made to order, it should be ready for sleep the same day it’s unpacked. For best results, unbox it in the morning to allow time for expansion and temperature acclimation. During colder winter months or if the mattress has been stored in its box for several weeks, it may take closer to 48 hours for full expansion.
    • Avoid leaving the mattress in its box for more than 4 months.
    • You may notice a slight odor (new mattress smell) once unpacked. This is normal and should dissipate within a few days.

    MATTRESS CARE

    Do Not:

    • Allow your mattress to become stained or unsanitary. This voids the warranty.
    • Jump or stand on your Twinkle Mattress. Misuse can lead to damage, voiding the warranty.
    • Use the mattress on an uneven or unsupported surface.
    • Use an improper frame or foundation. Queen and King sizes must have a center support leg(s) for adequate support.

    Proper Foundation and Frame:

A proper bed frame with center support and cross slats spaced no more than 4 inches apart is required to comply with the warranty. Using an old or improper foundation can affect the feel of your new mattress and lead to premature wear. The pocketed coils in our mattresses are designed to contour to your body—but they’ll also contour to the surface the mattress rests on. For optimal support, use a solid, flat bedframe or base. If you place the mattress on an old box spring with sagging, slats that bend, or a frame with widely spaced slats, it may seem like the mattress is dipping when it’s actually the support beneath it.

In the example of a king-sized frame with slats, if each side lacks direct support where someone would lie, the slats may bend over time, compromising support. Additionally, if the slats are level with the top of the frame, the mattress may slide. This is not an ideal frame setup for supporting your mattress.

    Rotate Your Mattress Regularly:

Rotating your mattress helps distribute wear evenly, ensuring a longer-lasting sleep surface.
